So as of Friday, February 10th I’m now on ‘gardening leave’ from my role at Brightpearl, so I’ve got 3 weeks of time on my hands I wasn’t expecting!

Given I’m moving to a direct competitor - I can understand the decision - though practically I’m not sure what secrets I would have learnt in 3 weeks that I didn’t already know - not that I plan on (or am I allowed to) sharing them! Anyway, no one can complain at what is essentially 3 weeks paid holiday - just seems like I got the better end of the deal.

So I’ve got plenty of time to get on and get ready for my move to Swansea, however probably a bit too much free time and I’m not entirely sure what I’m going to do with it!

I had a few Brightpearl related apps that were public GitHub repos devloped myself. These are obviously no longer under active development and have now been deleted.

Hopefully I can find a project to fill the next three weeks, as having been in hospital for 2 weeks then off work off work for even longer whilst my burns heal, now gardening leaves means I haven’t really done any work for months. I’m very keen to get started at Veeqo in February!

My website and profiles will be updated at the end of my contract period to reflect my change in employment.

Right - now back to packing and cleaning the flat!
