After moving to Bristol for university in 2008 - I’ve had my ups and downs - but after 11 years of living in Bristol whilst it’s been a great place to stay, go out and work - I'm leaving.
My time in Bristol will be coming to its end in January and I’ll be moving to lovely Swansea in Wales to work for a company called Veeqo. As well as a fresh start, exciting new job role and new city to explore - the offer was ideal - but obviously relocation is a big decision to make.
This obviously means leaving my current position at Brightpearl. I won’t go into specifics as to the reasons why I’m moving - but what I will say is Brightpearl has been a fantastic place to work this last 2 and a half years, the staff are fantastic and I wish them all the best in their future endeavors. Leaving Brightpearl was the difficult part of the decision. I especially thank them for their support during my injury.
Veeqo takes care of your inventory, orders and shipping - so your brand grows quickly while delivering customers the experience they deserve.
Veeqo are at a more product focused stage of their development and I’m eager to be involved with the team there as an Implementation Consultant working at the company headquarters in the Swansea.
As well as looking forward to enjoying the waterfront in Swansea it will be nice to be nearby the Brecon Beacons with my favorite mountain Pen y Fan - hopefully I'll finally get that motorbike license and take a tour. The cheaper rent will be nice - and a new city and job brings about without a chance for change and fresh opportunity.
I’ve always thought opportunities should be to be grasped at when presented - as life doesn’t afford you many - so I look forward to grabbing this one. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
I’ll update again once I’ve startled making the move to Swansea!
